David Zerbe – A Passionate Photographer and a True Hero
David Zerbe was a renowned photographer who started his journey in the summer of 1975. After returning from his basic training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, he picked up a Canon F1 camera. He instantly fell in love with photography. From that day on, he knew that he was destined to be a photographer.
In 1976, David established his studio with a clear vision and passion. Without a doubt, it was to make time stand still while capturing the love and beauty of the wedding day. His natural talent and dedication helped him to grow his business. By 1985, his studio had six photographers, booking over 200 weddings per year.
However, David’s life took a turn when the Army came calling. Nonetheless, he was deployed to different parts of the world. Despite being away, his studio continued to flourish under his wife, Bonita, and son, Chad.
David’s love for photography never faded. He returned home in 2008 to continue doing what he loved most. He captured beautiful moments of weddings, families, and children. Over the years, David had won several awards for his outstanding photography skills. Those which were highlights included; two Bronze Stars, an Emmy award for broadcast journalism, and many more.
Sadly, David passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017. He left behind a legacy of a successful photography business. He will always be remembered for his dedication, passion, and love for his work. Today, we continue to provide top-notch photography services to honor David’s memory and keep his legacy alive.
